Completely in my own head,
the only one who am
If you were in here with me,
I'd probly say "God Damn!"
I'd say "Get the hell on outta here!
Get up out this place.
And as you're leaving, kindly
take this garbage you called grace."
Regardless of what anyone thinks. God is an idea that can exist in a human mind that the human uses to explain phenomenon that he cannot understand. Keep in mind for now: "What I Assume, You Shall Assume." -Walt Whitman

The Only Son
The blame is mine,
mine alone.
Though help you gave
to my son.
He came and passed,
passes still
Let him be gone
is my will.
For his untrue ways
were not mine,
but the collective's
of another divine.
mine alone.
Though help you gave
to my son.
He came and passed,
passes still
Let him be gone
is my will.
For his untrue ways
were not mine,
but the collective's
of another divine.
What's up?
Where do you think that thing is AT?!
Wonder where it could be.
All I wanna do,
all I wanna do
is see.
F'i don't find it by tomorrow
Gonna be feelin' blue.
What should I do?
What will I do?
What do you think that thing WAS?!
Wonder what it could be.
All I wanna do,
all I wanna do
is see.
Fi' don't find it by tomorrow
Gonna be lookin' for somethin' to do
tomorrow.

Poems of a Pair
The Trees
The Trees are sending messages,
some of them to me.
Everything may see
what they say
Messages to new,
messages to old,
less efficient in the cold,
but resilient.
The birds and the bees
interpret what they say
and deem it ok
to help out.
When finally received
from the birds and the bees,
the transmission of the trees
is complete.
Brain Cells
Brain cells send messages,
some destined for you.
All know what they do,
but not how.
Messages to the west,
Messages to the east,
when in name of peace,
more efficient.
The glial cells and chemicals
assist their way
they deem it ok
to help out.
When finally received
by nutrients and greed,
another cell will feed
for more direction.
The Trees are sending messages,
some of them to me.
Everything may see
what they say
Messages to new,
messages to old,
less efficient in the cold,
but resilient.
The birds and the bees

The Girl
Can she tear me inside
while pushing my mind?
To open up and say,
"Over here!"
She has to know a way
to open up and say,
"I like you too,
here I am!"
Well I'm workin' hard boo.
Hope you are too.
Like flowers that bud
at dusk.
Or I feel like a dud.
My face in the mud.
Your destiny now sings
of my grace.
With harmony, dawn brings
your memory that sings,
while eating an orange
under the sun.
while pushing my mind?
To open up and say,
"Over here!"
She has to know a way
to open up and say,
"I like you too,
here I am!"
Well I'm workin' hard boo.
Hope you are too.
Like flowers that bud

Or I feel like a dud.
My face in the mud.
Your destiny now sings

With harmony, dawn brings

A Day at Sub Way
This poem is a 100% true story:
A girl sporting boots, too cute to be moot,
seemed quite happy and gay.
We talked to our bud, I got my sub,
and began filling up my drink.
The guy could see that she had no ID
with which to get her discount.
But he cut her some slack, since she had a backpack.
I said "What if she's still in highschool?"
She turned and said "thanks" as i fondled my change,
unsure of my character to date.
"That's a long way to walk." She said with slight balk.
Being a genius, I left without asking if she wanted a ride.
Dang those boots were cute.
Hit me up on facebook, gurl.

Why the Hostility?
If you find me unreason'ble
I ask why that be?
For what know you,
Of my sanity?
You bank on your faith
And stride to hide,
But what when a challenge
Is brought by tide?
Will you stand and face
In spite of doubt
Or will you show it wrong
And expect me to pout?
I ask why that be?
For what know you,
Of my sanity?
You bank on your faith
And stride to hide,
But what when a challenge
Is brought by tide?
Will you stand and face
In spite of doubt
Or will you show it wrong
And expect me to pout?
Talking Openly with Someone About Faith
I tell you beliefs, you tell me yours,
As all we imagine can open doors.
In your head and mine we flow through time,
Following rhythm and trying to rhyme
With those who follow, or just know my name.
Trying to find the best play for this game.
While colors and sounds construct our day,
Smells try to show us another way.
A way unseen by both or one,
Stronger it makes us when the day is done.
So be not a sheep and do what you can,
But follow your heart. Find new ways of man.
For all of this talk of possibility
Allows for a ground with reality.
As all we imagine can open doors.
In your head and mine we flow through time,

The World!
A metaphysical, pastoral, epic, samurai elegy:
One day, a man suddenly realized, "The world!"
He asked two of his friends what it could be.
The first friend's explanation was long and would require a LOT of work to understand fully.
The second friend simply pointed up in the sky with his finger and said, "God" as he winked with a smile.
The second friend then drew his blade while the first was staring at the sky,
decapitating him for having the better idea.

The Evolving Human
The Evolving Human
Once was a kind who knew of their mind,
knew of success, failure, and stress.
Diversity spread them, kept them apart,
but wisdom grew stronger as it did it’s part.
Finally, understanding why diseases were
and the workings of what they’d done,
the people all stood strong.
United as one.
